This article describes some useful steps to follow when RCS does not send SMS/WAP push.

Instructions

Follow these steps:

1. check if aircard is running;
2. check if the modem contains a SIM and that the SIM is charged;
3. try to send an SMS by aircard application;
4. try to send an SMS via console;
5. try to send a WAP push via console;
6. gather the DB logs.

!!! ⇒ WAP push messages are not always sent, some providers block them. Also, some phone devices do not support the WAP stack (e.g. some HTC and Motorola models) and Cyanogenmod blocks WAP push.
