RAW connection to port 80:

  • If it replies asking the login, then system chain error.
  • If it doesn't reply and after the command it quits: it is correct (communication non requested by agent).

In order to restart the bbproxy service:

  • /etc/init.d/bbproxy restart

Check that processes [bbproxy] <defunct> are not present (by using ps ax o ps -ef and so on).
If they are still present, stop bbproxy with the command:

  • /etc/init.d/bbproxy stop

Check if processes [bbproxy] <defunct> are not present; if they are still present use pkill bbproxy and then run the command:

  • /etc/init.d/bbproxy start in order to start the service.

If you want to start the service bbproxy in debug mode use the command /opt/bbproxy/bbproxy -d; it returns the log.
